The video has been updated."Milky Way Rising, Comment: "Yeah, I was actually really surprised at how many hot pixels are in the images. I did work hard to remove them (using clone brush in Lightroom), but this also looks strange since stars disappear as they pass through clone-brushed regions. So I decided to just leave them."Milky Way Rising, Comment: "Gotta destroy those hot pixels!"Contemplation, Comment: "What a truly incredible piece of writing"Delicate Arch I, Comment: "Nice panorama, well done."Delicate Arch I, Comment: "Nice. I think I might prefer a slightly less cropped version though - I like how the wide angle pulls you in."Polish Summer III, Comment: "This one is quite unbalanced, hence intriguing. My eyes get stuck on the red bar and droplets every time."Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy, Comment: "Thanks for all the comments everyone. Claus, it is indeed an HDR, merged from just two exposures."Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy, Comment: "The depth and clarity is just unbelievable in this one, if this is HDR you have really done a great job on this one."Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy, Comment: "I must admit that I like the unprocessed version better; the processed one doesn't feel real. I find it difficult to figure out where the light is coming from. "Czarny Staw Gąsienicowy, Comment: "Great composing. What a precise framing, a great one."Sunset from Rigi Kaltbad I, Comment: "The before/after may be a bit deceiving sometimes. For panoramas I adjust the individual images by zeroing out all settings and using a linear response curve. I find this makes stitching and blending work a bit more reliably. At default settings in Lightroom, the "Unprocessed" images would look a bit more vibrant. "Sunset from Rigi Kaltbad I, Comment: "I don't know how you do the post processing to get so much texture and contrast in everything. I think I've got to send you a crappy, flat image of mine to see what you can do with it!"Sunset over Caernarfon Castle I, Comment: "when we look at images we usually scan them left to right, and we like to have a 'resting spot' about 2/3 of the way through - that's why it looks better flipped, since our eyes want to rest just past the castle..."Polish Summer II, Comment: "Nice find. "Brunelleschi's Dome, Florence, Comment: "Hi Olivier,

Thanks for the comments. Unfortunately, I don't want to get blended exposure layers. In in fact what roughly the opposite. I want to save the panorama out so neighboring images are *not* blended together, where the blending between each image is not smooth, so you can see the transitions between images, as if the images were just stacked on top of each other. Can this be done?"Brunelleschi's Dome, Florence, Comment: "If that's what you need : in the stitcher tab, from the output "exposure fusion", check the "blended exposure layers" and hugin will keep the stack of exposures used for the final output.

As for the exif, my version of hugin keep them (hugin 2010.0, linux (using the exiftool software)).

By the way, I like your blog really much, and would like to be able to do so :)
Perfect shot!"Watchtower and Poplars, Comment: "I probably could, but wasn't sure if it was necessary."Sheep at Baden, Comment: "I agree, but unfortunately none of my shots had a good framing. Nice green with the age of the structure so well captured."Rustic Stairs, Comment: "This composition is pretty nice too. To my eyes, though, there's something that looks a little over-processed about it, perhaps too much contrast or clarity. A great place."Hermes from Atalante, Comment: "I like this photo, the red is nice, the composition looks good, and you've vignetted it to great effect. The top of that column definitely looks great though."Feta Cheese, Comment: "I love the textures and colors in this image. I'm not crazy about the balance of the plants though, it feels like the image is a bit right-heavy. The leaf hanging off the right side of the frame is a no-go. Clonestamp?"Hermes from Atalante, Comment: "Haha, no, I didn't extend the legs. The final is the composite of two photos. I was disappointed that I cut the statue off at the joints in one of them, so I pasted in a version of the statue that was more complete onto that background. I just didn't know how to show that clearly with the before/after button."Hermes from Atalante, Comment: "So comparing the unprocessed to processed... Did you extend his legs? If so, great job. ~cheneel~"Paperwork II, Comment: "Love this - excellent idea and out of the ordinary....Well Done...!!!"Paperwork II, Comment: "I like the texture on these papers."Paperwork I, Comment: "Very nice structure on the paper. Nice work!"Seal Diptych, Comment: "No, the seal on the right is not dead :) They are the same seal. I photoshopped the eye so that it doesn't look so odd. Maybe this helps it look less dead?"Seal Diptych, Comment: "This one I really like compositionally, and I find the claws really interesting, but I do find the one on the right really disturbing because it kind of looks like the seal is dead;-( I assume it's not though, right?"Pacific Harbor Seals III, Comment: "i actually am not a huge fan of this one. I like the two seals cuddling (subject matter), but I find the composition as a whole unsettling somehow, perhaps because of the competition for focus between the two subjects."Pelicans, Comment: "i like how my eyes follow the three heads as I look at the image."Barker Dam, Comment: "very nicely composed - i really like how you've included the rocks in the foreground; they really draw us into the image"Pacific Harbor Seals III, Comment: "I like their mien! Looks like somebody told them funny little things. bodacious picture."Pacific Harbor Seals III, Comment: "I like the second one better. I think both have good post processing. The second one is just more interesting because of the two main subjects. They are both interesting to look at an they create a fun contrast in both position and color to the rest of the shot. I like the cropping a lot, it helps to make the shot pop. "Antelope Canyon I, Comment: "wszystkie zdjęcia są super!!!!!!!!"Lake Cuyamaca, Comment: "Twoje zdjęcia są fantastyczne, czy przypadkiem nie pochodzisz z Mińska Maz? Miałam kolegę Wojtka Jarosza z MM."Barker Dam, Comment: "Thats a beautiful scene!"Waiting, Comment: "This reminds me of photos of refugees fleeing the nazis. Haha, but no really I like it because it seems like there is an implied narrative. More than just a portrait. It seems nostalgic.
"Porthole to San Diego, Comment: "fun composition - fantastic post processing. the detail and the color are great. "Portraiture Emulation III, Comment: "I really like all the portraits, but this one especially. The pose and framing are really cool and I love how this one (and the others) are just so clean and simple!"Hockey II, Comment: "i like the use of cropping in this one. it makes for a much more interesting shot. good eye!"Abstract Glass, Comment: "Nice capture. I like the curves-within-curves motif. Lots of other very nice post-processing work on your site as well!"Kelp Forest, Comment: "awesome shot! great color, composition, detail, movement."Portraiture Emulation IV, Comment: "great sharpening. really pops nicely."Portraiture Emulation II, Comment: "Great Photography!

Nice Work!"Gateway, Comment: "Wow. Great photo, my favorite yet."Old Polish Building, Comment: "you have a very nice site with some great photos. i really like the raw/jpg option. it's fun to see how other people process. this one stands out to me as a great photo after the processing - well done!"Under the Boardwalk, Comment: "Great Pic - like the situation! "Lake Cuyamaca, Comment: "great work you have here!"Industrial Moonlight, Comment: "Beautiful capture!! :-)"Grass, Comment: "I like this! The background is smooth and undistracting, and the focus is so clear, creating a contrast between the soft, smooth background and sharp and spiky subject."Tomatoes, Comment: "I like the tones and the horse's expression. I don't like the distractions in the background, especially the rather large man walking toward us. But most of all, I completely can't stop seeing a floating right arm holding on to the horse. Apparently, the owner of the arms is wearing an invisibility cloak, and forgot to keep his arms under it!"Angular, Comment: "hey, this is pretty cool - you have to stare at it a while to figure out what's going on. Actually, I'm not sure I've figured it out yet, but I do like all the lines."San Diego Fires Aftermath I, Comment: "If it wasn't for the big black thing in the upper right corner, this could be a really good photo. The black shadow (or whatever it is) draws my eye away from the focus of image - I find the image is a lot better if I cover up that part of the image with my hand."Antelope Canyon III, Comment: "I love it. Great photo - the best of the three cave photos."Kelp Forest, Comment: "I really like this one - the subject matter is really compelling as are the colors. I kinda wish the fish in the upper left corner would either get out of the frame or swim on down. Very nice - makes me want to go scuba diving."Antelope Canyon III, Comment: "I'm not sure how this happened, but the comment from me on the first image was supposed to apply to this image. This is my favorite of the three. Sill wouldn't mind a poster;-)"Resting, Comment: "The key idea in this photo is scale. I think you did a good job drawing that out with the dark (and small) fly against the contrasting (both in size and color) fruit. Nice composition and focus, my only critique is the blurry flat thing in the background... wish that wasn't there."Rustic Cabin, Comment: "There's an area burnt out in this image, that by itself disqualifies it in my book, but, further, this photo lacks a compelling subject. This would be a great background for a western/frontier-themed model or something, but as it is, it's a support for a nonexistent lead. This image needs a foreground element. If you had bracketed the exposures this image would be neat lighting-wise. Colors are kind of flat also. If you look at the lines, they seem to draw the eye off the edge of the frame. This is discouraged."Wine Glass and Napkin, Comment: "This is probably the weakest image in the gallery. The reflections in the glass are distracting and not pretty, the composition of the background is disturbing, and the subject overall leaves something to be desired. The viewer is instantly bored by this image. If you're going to shoot a photo of a glass like this, you need to shoot through a black velvet blind so that the scene behind you doesn't show up in the glass. Alternatively you could use a polarizer."Wine Glasses, Comment: "Everybody has a photo like this in their gallery. Like most of them, there's nothing particularly interesting going on. Neat bokeh though. What you could do in an image like this to be different is to use some brightly colored lights so that the reflections turn out all crazy. I saw a piece done where they used long fluorescent tubes of different colors to light the scene, and that put really strange and cool reflections in the glasses."Goat, Comment: "While goats are neat, this isn't a particularly compelling photo. Centering the goat in the frame makes for a static composition, and the expression of the goat doesn't really add any energy to the image either. If I were shooting this goat, I might focus on the ear tag to maybe say something about animal herding and branding or perhaps I'd get closer to the goat's face to try to get some kind of drama or a more dynamic composition. Also, the background is distracting with the way the tree behind the goat "grows" out of the goat's head."Grapes and Plums, Comment: "It's just grapes. There's no motion to the composition, I'm not really being drawn in here. There's also a really distracting twig coming in from the right side. This photo needs a focus."Antelope Canyon I, Comment: "All of these canyon shots are beautiful, but this one is simply stunning. The framing is perfect and the streaks of light are amazing! I wouldn't hesitate to put a poster of this in my living room!"
