After Istanbul, we flew to central Turkey to spend a few relaxed days in the Cappadocia region. We stayed in the small town of Göreme, which is in the national park of the same name. The region is famous for the "fairy chimney" rock formations which can be seen here.
This photo is taken directly across the street from the Göreme Open Air Museum, where we went to enjoy the sunset one evening. This is an HDR image merged from three exposures and then tonemapped.
