Kiliçlar Valley II

Kiliçlar Valley II

The Cappadocia region was first settled in the Roman period when people would live in caves hand-carved out of the soft rock formations. This is a view of one of the man-made caves, seen during sunset. The modern town of Göreme is visible in the background. HDR photo merged from three exposures and then tonemapped.
